Making its debut to San Francisco Ballet Wayne McGregor's Chroma is one that I am particularly excited about. Set to music by Jack White of the White Stripes this contemporary piece is making waves for modern ballet. Chroma is included in Program 6 along with Wheeldon's Ghosts and Tomasson's 7 for Eight .

Tip: Chroma opens the same night as Thursdays at the Ballet. This $69 ticket will also include a post-performance reception for young professionals with cocktails provided by Tres Agaves.

Collaborating with the legendary Mickey Hart of Grateful Dead and architect Christopher Haas the exploration of space, attraction and inanimate objects will blow your mind. I had a sneak peek at the rehearsal and needless to say I almost cried. LINES will move you.
